EBCA to Embark on CE Accredited
Endeavor at April 14 meeting

Our March meeting was very well attended, due largely to the timely topic of our speakers! My thanks to both Jenny and David Block of Block Environmental for the wonderful presentation they did on the new Federal Lead Regulations – which will take effect in April! Great job!!!

A big “Thank You” also goes to Kelly Sullivan, with Wardlaw Claims Services – our Speaker’s Committee Co-Chair for arranging our speakers!

Lisa Winn reminded everyone that Exhibitors Booth Spaces are now open to the general public for the Claims Conference of Northern California on September 9th & 10th at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento! Our Golf Tournament Chairperson - Joe Baughman told us that we now have a signed contract with Eagle Vines in the Napa Valley for our Golf Tournament to be held on July 30th. Our April 14th Luncheon meeting should be brimming with attendees for, what I hope is the first of many CE Course offerings that East Bay Claims Association will be providing its membership this year! My thanks to Property Claims Association of the Pacific for providing the Continuing Education Accreditation for this course!

Craig Pusser, CSAA SIU Supervisor and Ward Loveland, Attorney with Coddington, Hicks and Danforth will be the instructors presenting a TWO HOUR COURSE on “What You Should Know About Detecting and Fighting Fraudulent Claims”.

Check-in for the April 14th Luncheon will begin at 11:15AM. Lunch will begin at NOON with brief announcements and buffet. The CE Course will begin promptly at 12:30PM through 2:30PM. Reservations are required for this luncheon, as seating will be limited!
