EBCA Members Happy to be Back at Zio Fraedos

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful combination President’s Day & Valentine’s Day weekend with your friends, family and significant others in your life!

Let me begin by thanking Ken Pritten with Engineering, Design & Testing for his presentation on the dangers of Electrical Injury! Great job, Ken!

Many of you came up to me to say how happy you were that EBCA is back at Zio Fraedos Restaurant! I know that Tony and his staff worked very hard to make sure things were perfect for our meeting, and Tony took a moment at the beginning of our Board Meeting to assure the Board they will continue to do so!

As we look ahead toward our March 10th meeting, member Jennifer Block with Block Environmental will be speaking to us on a very timely subject: The New Lead Regulations and How They Will Affect Us All! It is sure to be a packed house for this meeting!

The following Tuesday, after the March Luncheon, we will be gathering for a St. Patty’s Day Mixer to be held on March 16th at Zio Fraedos from 5:30PM to 7:30PM! Come, relax, network and enjoy!!! Our Secretary, Jodi DeVillier will be sending out a separate Evite Invitation for this event! Watch your email!

Then, for our April 14th Meeting – Craig Pusser, Supervisor with the SIU Unit of CSAA will be conducting our 1st CE Course!!!! This meeting will begin at NOON, with introductions, announcements and lunch, and the CE Course will be conducted from 12:30PM to 2:30PM. Make sure to put this date on your calendar now! Lisa Winn with TempHome Services and Exhibitors Co-Chair reminded us all that it’s time to register for your booth at the 2010 Claims Conference of Northern California to be held once again at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento on September 9th & 10th! Lisa stated letters have gone out to last year’s exhibitors who have 1st Choice purchasing a booth for this year’s conference. The purchase of Exhibitor’s Booths will be opened to the General Public at the end of March! Don’t hesitate! These booth spaces sell out fast!

Finally, Secretary Jodi DeVillier informs me that there are still many of you who have not yet renewed your Membership to EBCA. Take a moment and renew your membership today!
