Off to a Great Start in 2010 -
Join Us Back at Zio Fraedos

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout for our first meeting of the New Year! Linda Meyer gave an excellent presentation on the recent case law from 2009! Many thanks to Jodi DeVillier, Secretary, and Ken Ridings, Treasurer, for excellent job they did at the check-in table! Also, thank you to Donna Topp of UNITS for assisting with Membership Renewals at check-in! To make check-in easier and much faster – please take advantage of using our secure online method to pay for your lunch and membership in advance. I encourage you to bookmark our website and make it a habit to return regularly as updates are often.

Your Board of Directors met following the January luncheon meeting. They have begun the planning of events for the year! The first event, which was a great hit last time we did it – will be our EBCA St. Patty’s Day Mixer – to be held on March 16th! The location is yet to be determined! Watch for your March Newsletter and our website for more information!

My thanks to Board members Joe Baughman of Wingard Construction and Brian Davis of Restoration Clean Up Company for agreeing to be Co-Chairs for our upcoming 2010 East Bay Claims Annual Golf Tournament to be held once again at Eagle Vines in the Napa Valley! Both Joe and Brian are going to need help, as organizing a golf tournament is a large job and this is East Bay Claims Association’s largest fundraiser of the year! We are pleased to announce the return of our luncheon meetings back to Zio Fraedos Restaurant, 611 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523 – beginning with our next meeting, Wed., February 10th! Many of our members have expressed a desire for EBCA to return to Zio Fraedos and we have heard you! Even though we had a large crowd for our January 2010 meeting (90+ in attendance), our largest attendance still remains those meetings held while at Zio Fraedos!
