What a Great Way to Kick-Off the Year

What a tremendous turnout for our first meeting of 2009. We apologize for the time that you spent waiting in line at the registration table and in the food line. So many of you paid your yearly registration fees in January that we are certain this line will move much quicker in February. The buffet table will be centered to allow two serving lines. A big thank you to JoAnn Dean and Kim Tamayo for their assistance up front.
If we heard guest speaker, Bill Staples, correctly, there were actual court cases decided in California last year where common sense prevailed.
This month Jeff Allen from Van De Poel, Levy and Allen will share some words of wisdom with us.
The table decorations this month were provided by Kim McFarlane, with P.W. Stephens, Inc. Kim said that February is her month. This explains why she has a constant smile on her face.

We had a change in our Golf Chair. Brian Davis, with Restoration Clean-up Company, has stepped up and taken this position. Co-chair will be Tom McIver with CRDN.
Kim Tamayo will be the Christmas Party Chair. Although she has plenty of ideas, she will need helpers as these ideas turn into an event.
Michael Ybarra will be the Events Chair. We are unsure where he may lead us but getting there is half the fun.
Several of you came forth with suggestions after our last meeting. Thank you, as your feedback is welcomed.
