Greetings Fellow EBCA Members,
A sincere word of thanks to all who attended our annual golf tournament and a special thanks to all the many volunteers who spent countless hours planning and coordinating this wonderful event. The weather was perfect for a day out on the golf-course; snacks and drink were plentiful, great raffle gifts and a delicious awards dinner. I hope everyone enjoyed the day. Special thanks to our Golf Committee Chair, Carol Valenzuela, who did such a tremendous job steering the ship and making sure our "America the Beautiful" theme played out. Congratulations to all our winners, and a huge thank you to all our sponsors.
Additionally, a special thanks to all who contributed backpacks and school supplies for our back-to-school drive. This is one small way of giving back to our local community and your support was outstanding.
As the final dog-days of summer have come to their conclusion, I hope everyone has registered to attend the 14th annual Claims Conference of Northern California, (CCNC), titled, “Bridging the Industry”, September 13 and 14 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Sacramento. This is the only event wherein all northern California claims associations come together as one for a two day conference of learning, networking and enjoying one another. Further, this is an opportunity for adjusters to earn continuing credits and for everyone to reaffirm previous business relationships and make new friends alike. We hope to see everyone in Sacramento. Registrations are being accepted on the CCNC web site.
As a reminder, there will be no luncheon in September due to the CCNC however we will reconvene in October at Zio Fraedo’s in Pleasant Hill and I look forward to seeing everyone there.
