WOW! What an incredible turn-out for our March luncheon, which is one for the records. The luncheon reached capacity with 80 people in attendance, 25 percent of whom were adjusters.
Thank you to all who attended this luncheon to hear our amazing keynote speaker, Lon Anderson. His practical, no nonsense business practices are something we can all incorporate in our day-to-day dealings with clients and insureds. It is always a pleasure when Lon addresses the association and we look forward to having him return next year.
What fun we had at our first “Members Only” event at O’Kearney’s Fun House in Walnut Creek March 15th. The event combined good food, drink, socializing and some awesome pool playing. Who would have known that we have some very good pool players within the association (i.e.: John Webber and Ryon Hayward).
The evening heated up when our very own Frances Hewitt performed some amazing Karaoke and sultry dancing. A special thanks to Don Sams, of Sams and Associates Insurance Services, and his staff from the bay area and Sacramento for attending. If you missed this event, you can catch the next “Members Only” mixer scheduled for June, details to be announced soon.
The April 11th luncheon will feature a panel discussion on coverage entitled, “What is an Ensuing Loss?” Joining the panel will be Dan Adams, Golden Eagle Insurance, Kelly Taylor, CSE Insurance, and Steve Tilghman, Claims Professional Res. On behalf of Kelly Sullivan, our Vice President, and all the board, we extend a warm thank you to everyone for your continued support of the association and a special thanks for your generosity of raffle gifts. The association continues to grow at a steady rate, averaging some 15 – 22 new memberships each month. If you've yet to join for 2007, please go to the membership app., complete it and return it with your dues, or bring it to the next meeting!
