Education Continues for EBCA April message from 2006 EBCA President Robert A. Tucknott Wow! Did we bring in a crowd at the last meeting?! We had over 60 attendees! We were bursting out at the seams in our room. Following the meeting, I finally bit the bullet and made arrangements with the Radisson to guarantee the large room every meeting. Now we need our members to do their part and invite potential new members and guests, and for sure themselves, to come to our meetings to fill the room. We are on our way to 100 attendants in the future. If we all do our part we can make it there, which will be beneficial to our whole audience and give a much better forum for our speakers. Upcoming this summer, we are making final arrangements for our outdoor winery under the grape arbor luncheon at Concannon Wineries in Livermore. This will be a barbecue style luncheon and I promise you will love it! Our Speakers Committee, headed up by Kelly Sullivan, is working to secure an appropriate speaker for that luncheon. We hope to pack in at least 100 people to make it an exciting day, and a worthwhile venture for the group. You have all been doing a great job and I’m looking forward to a fabulous year of growth for the East Bay Claims Adjusters. We are very pleased to present yet another dynamic speaker, who is sure to bring some quality information to our members. Gordon Park, from McCormick Barstow is sure to be a big draw. I understand Mr. Park is a favorite with a lot of the AIG claims people who have been a most welcome addition to our group. I would advise that you get your reservations in as quickly as you can... like, NOW. Lastly, we encourage all who have yet to do so to join to the East Bay Claims Association for 2006. Your membership dues help us keep event costs down, and to contribute to the community in charitable ways. I look forward to seeing you all April 12th. Do not miss out. Be there.
